Apollitical Jess is one of racing’s richest Quarter Horses. With over $75 million in progeny earnings, this chestnut stallion is the breed’s #1 living racing sire.

American Quarter Horses are legendary sprinters, prized for their explosive acceleration and power over the quarter mile. By the age of 4, Apollitical Jess had already been crowned World Champion Racing Quarter Horse and shattered track records in races like the Los Alamitos Super Derby and the Champion of Champions. He retired from the track in 2010 with over $1.3 million in earnings.

This story didn’t end at the wire, however - Apollitical Jess’s career as a sire has been just as important as his legendary sprints on the track. He has left an important mark on Quarter Horse racing with nearly 800 winning offspring, including foals like KJ Desparado, the only Quarter Horse in history to earn over $3 million.

Admired by Quarter Horse enthusiasts and racing fans alike, Apollitical Jess is a living legend and a true representative of his breed’s versatility.

Why we love this model

The Geronimo mould is a good solid Quarter Horse, it's one of those lovely solid models that isn't anything fancy to look at but is just a nice sculpt and representation of the breed. This is also a really unusual colourway with his birdcatcher spots, making him a bit different from other solid coloured models.

Packaging Information

This model comes in their original Breyer packaging. We will protect the box with bubble wrap and then ship in a cardboard box with padding. They will be well protected on his journey to you but if you do have any issues please just drop us an email at: catriona@chestnutridge.co.uk
