GG Kiss Me Kate

A true standout in both beauty and heart, GG Kiss Me Kate is the most decorated Vanner horse in history and a remarkable ambassador for her breed.

Originally bred by Romani travellers in Ireland and Great Britain to pull caravans, these hardy horses are known for their strength, kindness, and striking presence. Kate embodies all of these qualities and more: she has amassed an extraordinary 56 Supreme Grand Champion titles, excelling in-hand, in harness, and under both English and Western saddles. Outside of the show ring, she loves to offer “kisses” and has even served as a therapy horse! Also a valued broodmare, Kate has produced foals that have gone on to become National Champions in their own right.

Kate was bred by Dennis and Cindy Thompson’s Gypsy Gold Farm, the importer of the first Vanner horses to America in 1996. Kate is a treasured mare as her grandsire, The Gypsy King, was one of the Thompsons’ sixteen original imports who also had his own Breyer portrait model produced in the year 2000. Kate’s charisma and winning personality have made her a shining star among these beautiful horses.

Why we love this model

Pluto Gratia is the first Breyer regular run release on the Adonis/Lipizzaner Stallion mould. This mould was first released in 2023 as part of the Premier Club and, although he has been used for BreyerFest, he is yet to have a regular run release. This means he is great for customisers or collectors who want to get their hands on a new mould. I also love this model because he is the perfect colour for the breed which makes showing really simple, and isn't life better when it's simple?

Packaging Information

This model comes in their original Breyer packaging. We will protect the box with bubble wrap and then ship in a cardboard box with padding. They will be well protected on his journey to you but if you do have any issues please just drop us an email at: catriona@chestnutridge.co.uk
